I am a writer, director, and emerging production designer with a focus on creating unapologetic queer films that challenge expectations.

My work is driven by strong visual instincts and a love for collaboration. I approach a project with a playful, confident vision, but I’m just as passionate about creating space for others to share their voice. I know great films are made by many perspectives, not just one.

Raised on a farm in Hawkes Bay, but now making films and performing drag in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, I draw inspiration from these contrasting yet connected worlds. As a transgender artist, my work is deeply informed by the path of navigating my identity in Aotearoa. I love telling stories that explore human truths, but also enjoy stories that are visually extraodinary.

I love all things SFX gore, set dressing/building, costume, makeup and prop design. I bring a sharp eye to art department and take joy in building rich, layered worlds that bring characters and stories to life.
